FIFA UNDER 17 WORLD CUP 2017 – KOLKATA & GUWAHATI

The2017 FIFA U-17 World Cupwas the 17thFIFA U-17 World Cup, a biennial internationalfootballtournament contested by men's under-17 national teams. Organized byFIFA, the tournament took place in India from 6 to 28 October 2017, after the country was awarded the hosting rights on 5 December 2013. The tournament marked the first time India hosted a FIFA tournament and the second Asian country to host U-17 World Cup after United Arab Emirates in2013. The attendance for this World Cup was a record 1,347,133, surpassing China's record in1985with 1,230,976.

HERO I LEAGUE –MOHUN BAGAN & EAST BENGAL

TheI-Leagueis the men's second-tier of theIndian football league system. Currently contested by 12 clubs, It operates as a system ofpromotion and relegationwith theIndian Super League(ISL) and theI-League 2.

The competition was founded in 2007 as the successor to theNational Football League, with the first season starting in November 2007.The league was launched as India's first top-tier professional football league with the aim to increase the player pool for theIndia national team.I-League operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the I-League 2 and at first only promotion system with the ISL, from the 2022–23 season.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE

TheIndian Super League(ISL) is the men's highest level of theIndian football league system. Administered by theAll-India Football Federation(AIFF) and its commercial partnerFootball Sports Development Limited(FSDL),the league currently comprises 13 clubs acrossIndia.

The season runs from September to March and includes a 22-roundregular seasonfollowed byplayoffsinvolving the top six teams, culminating with theISL Finalto determine the ISL Cup champions. At the end of the regular season, the team with the most points is declared the premiers and presented with the League Winners' Shield. Until 2021–22 season the ISL Cup winners were designated as champions but later from 2022-23 season, the champions designation was given to table toppers instead of playoff champions.

The IPL usually takes place during the summer, between March and May each year.
